Previously, I have stayed at the Fuji Suite and Grand Deluxe Room, and I loved both, since all rooms at the hotel come with St. Regis signature butler service.
St. Regis Osaka has 4 different types of suites - Grand Deluxe Suite, Theme Suite, Matsu Suite and Royal Suite. While Fiji Suite is one of their specialty themed suite (which goes for 130,000 JPY++ per night!!!), Matsu suite is one level above that, and you would have to call hotel to make a booking.
So what's behind that door? and how does it compare with Fuji Suite?
Matsu Suite
The living room is huge and had one of the best views of the city. I will definitely have a party here next time, and use that 3000 yen mini bar allowance provided by St. Regis Osaka.

We didn't use the dinning room during our stay. It is in the category of 'nice to have'. There is a kitchen in the Matsu suite, so you can definitely have a dinner party here. - hosting 'My Kitchen Rules'?

Matsu Suite - Kitchen
A full size kitchen and dinning room. You can definitely live here if you want. Cook a home made meal after a day of sightseeing and shopping. A tea party, a dinner party...
